The information in this connection was provided by labour department inspector Pravin Malli to the gram panchayat secretary. The kits are missing from the office of the labour department. It is said when enquired it came to light that the kits were taken away by one Srikanth Nayak, a resident of Alevoor, to deliver at the gram panchayat office.

A complaint in this regard was lodged at Manipal police station by Alevoor gram panchayat president Pushpa Anchan against Srikanth Nayak and the labour department inspector. Nearly 200 kits are reported to be missing without any records.

The labour department had distributed 50 kits to the labourers in the past through the gram panchayat. However, the department had handed over the kits to a private person this time.

What's wrong here, they followed Modi's vaccination distribution technics, like instead giving to govt. Owned hospital they sold higher rate to private hospital, same here instead giving to free kit, they sold to private guy, so that labour can buy from them.
