Mangalore: Eid Celebrations at Kudroli Mosque

Mangalore Sep 10:  Large number of brethrens gathered at Jamia Masjid Kudroli to offer special prayers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr on Friday September 10.
 
The prayer service commenced at 8.15 am. Mufthi Maulana Manan Saheb, priest of Jamia Masjid led the prayers.



Over 2,500 Muslims from in and around the city flocked to the mosque. Seeking God’s blessings they wished each other good health, happiness and prosperity for the rest of their lives.

City police commissioner Seemanth Kumar paid a visit to the mosque on the occasion.  President of Jamia Masjid K S Mohammad Masood, treasurer Yusuf Khadar, vice- president Suleman and general secretary Khaleel among others were present on the occasion.

    Eid Mubarak to all and I am very happy to have prayed in Jamia Masjid today as it has taken nearly four years to near completion and has a shown how unity can prevail as the two jamaats have joined to become one.
