Venkatesh Daggubati-starrer 'Narappa' to release digitally on July 20


Hyderabad, Jul 12 (IANS): Telugu star Venkatesh Daggubati's much-awaited action thriller film "Narappa" will have a direct-to-OTT release on July 20.

The film, which is the Telugu remake of Tamil film "Asuran", and co-stars Priyamani, Karthik Rathnam and Rajsekhar Aningi.

"Narappa" is directed by Srikanth Addala and written by Vetrimaaran. The film is jointly produced by D. Suresh Babu and Kalaippuli S. Thanu.

"It is an extremely stimulating and enriching experience to work with such talented stars and a highly creative crew. The story of 'Narappa' is not only close to my heart but also narrates a social commentary on the system as a whole and this is our attempt to breathe life into this story.
