The technical staff has inspected the systems in the bus. The bus has siren system like ambulance. The inside of the bus resembles that of a medical clinic. Patients’ entry is made on the back side of the bus.

The bus has five beds. All beds have oxygen facility and also has monitoring machines for BP, oxygen level, ECG and body temperature. It also has IV facility, provision to install ventilator, emergency medicine and generator. In addition, there is notice board and other writings about quick recovery of patients.

The ICU bus will be flagged off by MLA Rajesh Naik on July 13. It will reach out to all villages and give service like a mobile clinic. Doctors and health professionals will provide medicines along with tests to people. If the bus runs as scheduled it will visit every village once in two months.

This bus has arrived to the taluk due to the efforts of MLA Rajesh Naik. The bus will arrive to KSRTC B C Road unit every day.
