Beltangady, Jul 10: Mohammed, father of a lady named Raihana (22), has filed a complaint in the police station here, reporting that his younger daughter, a resident of Kanyadi in the taluk, went away with her elder sister's husband on July 8 and has remained untraced thereafter.
"My elder daughter Saudha, was given in marriage to Mustafa about nine months back. My daughter and son-in-law used to visit our house often. On these occasions, my son-in-law, Mustafa, was behaving intimately with my younger daughter Raihana. He even used to converse with her over phone," he said in his complaint at Beltangady police station.

Recently, Mohammed stated, his elder daughter and her husband had developed some differences, as a result of which Saudha was living with her parents. On July 8 morning, Mustafa along with his mother came to Mustafa’s house at Kanyadi Kaikamba in a car. On that occasion, Raihana, without informing anyone at home, went away in the same car with a bag in hand with her brother-in-law, he explained.
Mohammed said that his younger daughter went missing therefore and has not returned home. The police have begun an investigation.
