Mangaluru: Man dies of cardiac arrest after witnessing death of another person

Mangaluru, Jul 7: A man died after suffering a cardiac arrest after witnessing the death of another man who went fishing and accidentally slipped into the water in Maaila under the limits of Kavoor police station on Tuesday July 6.

The man who went for fishing is identified as Joachim Mascarenhas (58). Joachim had gone for fishing along with family members at pond. In an unfortunate event, he slipped and fell into the water and died. Another person who witnessed this incident, collapsed on the spot. It later came to light that he had suffered a cardiac arrest and hence collapsed, leading to his death.
