Mangaluru: 6-year-old Ciera Angel Vas battling cancer passes away

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Jul 5: Ciera Angel Vas, who was bravely fighting Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, passed away late night on Sunday July 4.

The 6-year-old daughter of Cyril Vas and Anitha Vas, Ciera, had been admitted to KMC Hospital, Mangaluru on June 10. The family was unable to afford the little girl's treatment and had requested individuals and philanthropists to help Ciera get back to her normal life.

Hence, Daijiworld had published an appeal on June 22, requesting its readers to financially assist Ciera’s family to fight the dreaded disease.

Ciera is survived by her parents and an elder brother.

It is very difficult to understand the ways of God. While the cunning and the wicked thrive in this world an innocent soul is taken up after just 6 years. My heart goes out to her parents .

God looked around his garden- And found an empty place, He then looked down upon the earth- And saw your tired face. He put his arms around you -And lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful -He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering -He knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never – Get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough – And the hills were hard to climb. So he closed your weary eyelids – And whispered, ‘Peace be thine’. It broke our hearts to lose you – But you didn’t go alone, For part of us went with you – The day God called you home.
