Mangaluru, Jul 5: Irate netizens have modified the name of Pumpwell flyover in the city in the Google maps.
The Mahaveer Circle at Pumpwell has been widely known with the name, Pumpwell circle. In the Google maps, the spot has been named as Pumpwell Circle in English while in Kannada the same is shown as Mahaveer Circle. The troll groups, who have noticed this, have changed the name of the flyover as 'PumpWall - The Great Wall of Pumpwell' and then uploaded the picture in the social media.
The service road by the side of this fly over has been named by them as 'Nalin Kateel Seasonal Lake'.
Recently, due to the first torrential downpour of the season, the service road here had been inundated. The area looked like a pond. At that time, a video had been shared in the social media, depicting the MP as having drowned in the standing water there.
