Bengaluru, Jun 30: Observers will be appointed to suggest names of candidates for appointment as District Congress Committee (DCC) Presidents and Office-bearers, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President D K Shivakumar said in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
Speaking to media representatives near his residence, he said the observers will be appointed in a day or two.
All the DCC presidents and Legislators have been informed about the appointment of the DCC presidents and office-bearers throughout the State and the views of the current DCC presidents and legislators of the respective districts will be obtained, he said.
Shivakumar said the observers will be visiting all districts and he too will try to visit as many districts as possible to sort out any differences.
Later, the KPCC president inaugurated the office of the Bengaluru Rural District Congress Committee in the premises of the Congress Bhavan on Race Course Road in Bengaluru.
Former Chief Minister and senior party leader M Veerappa Moily, KPCC working presidents B Ramalinga Reddy, Saleem Ahmad, MLC S Ravi and DCC president Munishamanna and other party leaders were present.
