Mangaluru, Jun 23: After a long lull, KSRTC buses have started to move about in the district with the partial unlock on Wednesday June 23. However, private buses have not resumed operations.

There were only a handful of passengers in the bus stand which usually witnesses a buzz of activity in normal course.

The lack of passengers could be either because of lack of information about the availability of buses or because there are no connecting private buses to reach the city.

However, as the days pass, the bus stand is expected to return to its usual self. The buses are run duly complying with the government guidelines relating to limiting the number of passengers.

This is only a reason to sell KSRTC bus routes to private operators. Reason KSRTC is under loss.

I don't think that they want to sell the KSRTC to PVT or same third party. Has i know that Dk, UK and now Udupi were running pvt bus since 1947 or before and we have not see much of local service bus in this part of the country. here buses have been runned buy pvt people and they have done there best compare to other dist in karnataka . should be proud of these old pvt transport companies who have served well. they ticket fare are less compare to any BMTC or any other transport in other place .

YEDIYURAPPA HAS MONEY IN MILLIONS LEGALLY OR ILLIGALY MADE. AS PER HIS QUOTE ON SPEACH NO MATTER IF PRIVATE BUSSES FACE LOSES, LET THE COOPERATE TO CLOSE THE SERVICES. THEN WHO COMPANSATE THEM THEIR LOSSOS...? PRIVATE BUSS OWNERS ARE LIKE NO SCAM MONEY, NO SIDE ILLIGAL BUSINESS. NO LOOTEDMONEY. WHAT WAY GOVERMENT SUBSIDIZE. THAT MATTERS.
