Recoveries outnumber new coronavirus cases in Karnataka

Bengaluru, Jun 22: Karnataka on Tuesday, June 22 registered 3,709 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 1,18,592. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally has come down to 803 new cases.

As many as 139 deaths due to coronavirus were reported in the state on Tuesday, with Bengaluru Urban alone recording 26 deaths and Ballari 7. With this, the death toll so far has risen to 34,164.

The state recorded 8,111 discharges from hospitals, taking the total discharges so far to 26,62,250.

So far, Karnataka has seen 28,15,029 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 2.87%, while the case fatality rate for the day is 3.74%.

As many as 1,99,12,833 people have received vaccination so far.

    The virus will never leave next 3 years Although sounding negative these are hard facts Have to accept we have follow virus DIKTATS .. Mutations .. more potentially dangerous variants will emerge So while life has to go on reasonably ...... extreme caution is a must Social gatherings.. distancing ..masks even if vaccinated.. hand wash are basic ..
