Mumbai, Jun 22: A 36-year-old man was arrested seven years after cheating an elderly Malad textile trader of Rs 1.27 crore. He was arrested from Rajasthan on Saturday June 19.
In 2013, Azam Nirban, the accused along with his brothers promised the victim to sell his textile products in the market on commission. They prepared fake invoices and delivery challans, and sold them to third parties.
Upon realizing being duped, Ganeshmal Jain, the textile trader lodged a complaint against the three brothers.
