Udupi, Jun 19: Association for Protection of Civil Rights (APCR) Udupi truth investigating team has visited the family of Udaya Ganiga who was murdered at Yadamoge and collected details of the case.
APCR district in charge Hussain Kodibengre said that important details of the case are collected from the wife and family members of deceased Uday Ganiga. “Several details about the murder are also obtained from local people. Our truth searching team will soon prepare a report, submit it to the government and urge for justice,” he said.
“Several influential politicians including Pranesh Yadiyala and others are involved in the case. We will submit the report to the concerned and urge for just investigations. The murdered Udaya Ganiga was the only earning member in his family. His demise was a blow to his family. The government should pay a compensation of Rs 50 lac to his family. Our legal campaign in this connection will continue and we will urge for suitable compensation. We have expressed our condolences to the family of the deceased. APCR will be involved in the family’s campaign until they obtain justice,” he said.
The delegation that visited the family of the deceased consisted of Anand Karandur, Idris Hoode, Azeez Udyavar, Prasad Kanchan and advocate Yasin Kodibengre.
