However, an auto rickshaw driver in the taluk has gone a step ahead and is transporting people for free to the vaccination centres. His intention is that his village should be free of Coronavirus.

Anni Poojary of Peraje village, who parks his auto in Mani auto-rickshaw park in the taluk is the unique auto-rickshaw driver who is giving special service to society during lock down. He will come to the address of Peraje villagers to pick them up to take them to the vaccination centre if anyone gives him a call on his mobile. He not only takes the villagers to the vaccinations center for free but also safely brings them back to their homes.

In addition to free transportation of public to vaccination centres, Anni also transports sick people who are in need of emergency medical treatment for free. His work is lauded by the villagers. Many youths of the village have shared the same on WhatsApp groups so that the public can get the benefit of Anni’s free service to society.
