Bantwal, Jun 17: A truck driver and a cleaner suffered injuries after a heavily-loaded truck, rammed into a compound wall after the driver lost control over it near SVS Vidhyagiri here on Thursday June 17.
It is gathered that the truck was ferrying bags of rice from Shivamogga to Puttur.
As the driver and cleaner of the lorry sustained severe injuries following the accident, both were rushed to a private hospital in Mangaluru.
Melkar traffic police rushed to the spot and cleared the traffic.
A crane was used to shift the badly mangled remains of the truck.
