Udupi, Jun 14: A video recently went viral on social media where things were shown getting stuck to the body of a man. The man in this context claims to have developed magnetic powers after he got vaccinated against Covid.
The said the video has been shot by Raghavendra Shet, a resident of PPC Auditorium in the city. Shet claims that after he took the Covid vaccine he has noticed a change in his body and things made of iron including coins getting stuck to his body when brought close to him. In the video, it can be seen that a person is bringing coins and other things made of iron and showcasing how they get stuck to Shet's body.
Speaking to the media, Raghavendra Shet says, “I had watched a video made by a person in Pune about things made of iron getting stuck to his body after he took the Covid vaccine. I also tried to check and placed a coin near my body and it got stuck. When I conveyed this matter to my friends, they asked me to consult the matter with the doctor.”
After the video went viral on social media Raghavendra Shet was called to get medically examined in the district hospital at Ajjarkad.
Responding with regards to the video, DC Jagadeesh said, “It is false to claim that one gets magnetic power because of the Covid vaccine. District medical officer has asked Raghavendra Shet, who has made this video, to come for a medical examination. Raghavendra has taken the first dose of the Covid vaccine on April 28. It is more than a month now. He also had diabetes and BP. The public should not be worried by this video and must take the vaccine.”
It seems this video is just one more addition to the countless false videos that are making rounds on social media with regards to the Covid vaccine.
