Daijiworld Media Network - Kaup (SP)

Kaup, Jun 11: The manager of a petrol bunk at Muloor near here reportedly has cheated the bunk owner to the extent of Rs 18 lac.

A case of fraud has been filed by K Deepakraj Shetty, who operates Bharat Petrol bunk at Muloor on national highway 66, against Sukhesh Shetty, who was hired as the manager of the outlet.

Sukhesh Shetty was looking after the financial dealings of the bunk. The money of the bunk was credited into the bank account by way of card and cash by Sukhesh Shetty. After finding that the accounts did not tally and there was a lot of difference, the company authorities conveyed information to the owner. Sukhesh Shetty who left the petrol bunk in the evening on May 27, had switched off his mobile phone.

On May 28, when the accounts were verified, there was a difference of about Rs 18 lac. Deepakraj Shetty has accused Sukhesh of using petrol bunk's money for personal use instead of depositing the same into the bank.

The police, who have registered the case, are investigating.

18 Lacs is paltry amount compared to billions being looted by government by imposing 260% taxes on petrol and diesel. Moreover, salaries of petrol bunk workers are very low. On the contrary, cost of living is spiralling out of control. So, please spare this poor guy.

Petrol mein fraud..Petrol Bunk mein fraud. Doesn't Deepak Raj know that after every deposit he should verify his bank account balance? Don't worry. There are no flights out to escape like Lalit Modi, Nirav Modi, Choksi, Mallya.. Sukesh can't go far and there are no bars open so that he will live throw away the money on booze. He can be fished out easily.
