Mangaluru, Jun 9: Covishield vaccine being administered to boost the body's immunity against coronavirus infection, is available in all the taluk hospitals, community health centres, and primary health centres on Wednesday June 9. Eligible beneficiaries can get themselves vaccinated.
At the Bantwal taluk government hospital, vaccine would be administered to only those who have registered themselves online and scheduled appointment for themselves. People willing to get vaccinated in the urban health centres in the city, Ullal urban community health centre, as well as Bantwal and Puttur urban health centres have to register themselves online and schedule an appointment in order to get themselves vaccinated.
Those who have already got Covishield vaccination and have completed 84 days after the first dose, can get the second dose at the nearby primary health centre, community health centres, or urban health centres subject to the availability of the vaccine on priority.
Covaxin second dose is available in the district Wenlock Hospital, and all the taluk government hospitals. People who are eligible to get second dose of the vaccine can get themselves vaccinated at the district hospital or taluk government hospitals, a release from the district health and family welfare officer stated.
