Mangaluru, Jun 4: The cyber criminals who are opening fake accounts in the names of popular and important personalities, have now opened a Facebook account on the name of the city police commissioner.
This was revealed by police commissioner N Shashi Kumar. He said in a Facebook post that someone had created a fake Facebook account in his name. He has requested the members of the public not to extend any kind of assistance or help if someone seeks them.

It may be recalled, in the recent past, the Facebook account of the deputy commissioner of Udupi district had been created. On Wednesday too, unidentified persons who opened fake Facebook account in the name of the deputy commissioner posted messages seeking money.
