Mysuru, Jun 3: Mysuru City Corporation commissioner IAS Shilpa Nag on Thursday, June 3 announced her resignation over 'harassment' by deputy commissioner Rohini Sindhuri.
Addressing a press meet here Shilpa Nag said that she would be sending her letter of resignation to the state chief secretary.
She informed that during her tenure, the MCC has taken up innovative programmes in the city. "The city corporation has worked to bring the Covid-19 cases under control. As an IAS officer, I do not have the luxury of peace. Our officers are being continuously targeted. It pains me to take this decision to resign," she said.
