Panaji: Police book Majorda panch for assault

Panaji, Jun 2: Majorda panch Creson Antao (38), was booked by the Verna police for allegedly assaulting an Arossim man.

Frazier Saldanha, who filed the complaint said that the incident took place on Sunday May 30 at 10 am at the Arossim railway gate.

A verbal duel ensued between the duo after which Antao is alleged to have got aggressive and hit Saldanha with an iron rod, causing him injuries.
