Bengaluru, May 30: A delegation of BJP legislators is planning to meet the chief minister seeking to drop tourism minister, C P Yogeshwar, who has issued statements against the government and the chief minister (CM).
Yogeshwar's recent visit to Delhi, apparently to explain to the BJP party leaders the necessity of changing leadership in the state, has created a political storm in the state. The Congress has said that if not for the pandemic, BJP MLAs would have already been camping at resorts and plotting to replace the CM.

Now, a delegation is all set to meet the CM and urge Yogeshwar's ouster. MLA and CM's political sectetary M P Renukacharya is likely to lead the delegation.
The delegation plans to meet the CM on Sunday or Monday to urge Yediyurappa to dismiss Yogeshwar from the ministry. Senior leaders like rural development minister K Eshwarappa have lashed out against their cabinet colleague for his comments on the functioning of the state government under Yediyurappa.
A few of the MLAs had poikted out that they had earlier urged the CM against making Yogeshwar a minister as he was allegedly blackmailing the CM.
These MLAs are likely to meet and discuss the modalities. It is said that in addition to urging the chief minister, the members of the group also plan to write to the national leadeship of the party seeking Yogeshwar's unceremonious ouster.
