The wife's lawyer claimed that the husband had abused the wife and expelled her from their home which left her and their daughter homeless without any support. The court ruled that the evidence proved that the wife violated her husband's privacy by spying on his phone. Evidence showed that she shared pictures and recordings, and insulted him. The court stated that the husband incurred expenses and deserved financial compensation.
The court, however, rejected the husband's claim of losing his salary. The wife was asked to pay Dh 5,400 by the court in addition to legal fees and expenses
