Mangaluru: School students create website giving detailed information on coronavirus

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, May 26: People would like to know everything about coronavirus at a time when the disease has become widespread. In this backdrop, two students studying in the 12th standard have joined together to create a new website.

Amol Mendonca and Adik Abhyudith Hegde, CBSE 12th standard students of Lourdes Central School in the city, have created a website, lwww.covidwarzonedk.com. Both these students are currently undergoing coaching for JEE examination. They have launched this website for the benefit of the general public.

This website provides news about corona, government rules, corona statistics, ambulance services, information about hospitals in the city, consultation with doctors, food delivery service laboratories etc.

The students plan to include taluk-wise details on this website soon. The efforts of the students aimed at providing all information about the pandemic at a single place are praiseworthy.

Excellent work! Very much appreciated. It is the students, the NGO's, the help groups, the aid from other countries, the volunteers who helped during the 1st and 2nd wave and they deserve appreciation. In the 2nd wave the BJP Government had gone underground. What's the use of this government when it is not available to help people during their difficult times. Now slowly one after one coming out of their rat holes to claim the credit when the number of cases are falling.
