Kasargod: Police arrest two men for smuggling 22 kg of cannabis

Kasargod, May 25: Police officers of Vidyanagar police station on Tuesday, May 25 arrested two accused of smuggling ganja and seized 22 kilograms of cannabis worth Rs 10 lac from the accused.

The arrested accused are Abdul Samadani (27) of Bilal Nagar of Uliyathadka and Mohammed Safwan (31) of TV station road, Anangoor.

Police conducted a raid upon receiving definite information. The smuggling came to light, while they stopped a scooter and checked the vehicle that had cannabis inside it.

It is said that the accused were smuggling cannabis in the name of vegetables.

    Kasaragod is becoming famous for all crime activities. Medical infrastructure of the district is not yet developed. Kasaragod and Kannur still depends on Mangalore and Udupi for Medical facilities. Hope Vijayan 2.0 govt. focuses more on this aspects.

We do not ned to worry about Kerala, but in Karnataka, are we Saints??
