Dubai, May 22: The Karnataka Cultural Foundation (KCF) announced that the organization will conduct a free Covid-19 vaccination camp for the people especially Kannadigas in its Dubai zone with the support of the ministry of Health.
In a statement, the president said, “The health and happiness of the people remain our foremost priority. We are facilitating complimentary pre and post-vaccination support as well as vaccination awareness for our members and the public in general on Sunday May 23 at Hotel Grand Hyatt from 7.30 am to 9 am. The facility is available on a first-come-first-serve basis for 200 people. The second phase will be held on May 27.
Karnataka Cultural Foundation, the socio-cultural organization of Kannadigas in the Middle East, Malaysia and Britain is very active in various community services. Educational scholarships for talented and poor students, medical assistance for the needy are regular items on the list of services. The need for NGOs working on other causes has increased due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In the meantime, KCF left no other choice than to arrange repatriation flights from GCC to India and feeding distressed members of various nationalities by visiting them. The monthly magazine of KCF, namely Gulf Eshara is the first-ever Kannada monthly published in a foreign country with the permission of the pertinent authority in UAE.
