Tumakuru, May 19: Shivakumar (72), who was well-known as the question paper deal king and was involved with the leakage of several question papers including second PU and police departmental examination, breathed his last due to coronavirus infection on Tuesday May 18.
Shivakumar, who is a native of Bidare Kaggere in Gubhi taluk of thie district, was suffering from breathing problems. He was admitted into Koratagere government hospital where he did not respond to medications.
Case against him had been registered in Gubbi police station in 2011 about leaking the second PU question paper. In 2012, a case was filed in Tumakuru New Extension police station about leakage of question paper in which his name was also heard. In 2013, when a case of second PU biology question paper leakage came up, during the questioning, the accused had mentioned his name.
He had been arrested by Bengaluru central crime branch police but was released later. He had been arrested in 2016 for second PUC chemistry question paper leakage and in 2018 for police constable recruitment examination question paper.
