Benglauru: Coronavirus might ease in July, prepare for third wave - Experts

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, May 14: The coronavirus infection, which had picked up speed with the onset of May, has tapered a little due to the lockdown in the state. The experts have said that they expect the intensity of the infection to come down by July. However, they have warned about the severity of the third wave which might hit the country in three to five months time from now.

The virus strain might undergo further mutation during the winter. Some countries are already facing the fourth wave. Therefore, they have said, that following the Covid rules strictly is very much necessary for another year. The experts however are not sure about the intensity or capacity to spread but they depend on the way people conduct themselves and preparations being made to face the disease. They however have warned that unless care is taken, the third wave may pose more danger to children and teenagers.

A virus or wave requires three to five months time after the earlier wave loses its steam. Covid Technical Advisory Committee member and virologist, Dr V Ravi, expects the third wave to set in either during the end of this year or early next year.

When the first wave hit the country, senior citizens were the most affected. In the second wave, middle-aged people faced the consequences. Now, vaccines are being given to over 18 years. As the children and teenagers have no vaccines now, they face more danger, the experts feel. Ravi said that unless the people take care, Covid fourth and fifth waves too will come. The only remedy is vaccination, wearing masks, maintaining social distance, and maintaining a high level of hygiene and cleanliness in spite of whether a person has been vaccinated or not.

3rd wave, 4th wave, 5th wave??? What is this, is this any Film series title?? Government has completely failed to tackle and the above said thing happens then we all will die not of corona but surely of hunger, as the Government can do and knows only one thing to tackle, that is Lock down. Dear Indians let us all (excluding blind bhakts) apply for asylum to other respionsible countries, let alone blind bhakts suffer here by keep believing and praising their supreme leaders. I can guarantee if asylum option turns true then Blind bhakts will be the first to escape from the country. LoL

Why should we worry about third wave of Covid? Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Minister Usha Thakurji already said 4 days "Yagna Chikitsa would keep away Covid..... Then should we wear mask ? Ushaji has already clearly told that those who are adopting Vedic lifestyle need not wear mask at all..... Then what about Sanitiser - again a big NO by our Ushaji - burn cow dung cakes instead.....Then where do cow dung comes from ? Don't worry, Yogiji has more Goshalas than Swachch Bharat toilets, which will ensure continuous supply of Gobar..... Still not enough to cure, Yogiji will supply Gomutra too..... Still not happy? Arre, Baba Ramdev's Coronil is there..... Oh! Are you getting suffocated ? - Don't worry Yogiji is in the process of converting Nitrogen into Oxygen and also Kanganaji is planting more trees..... Feeling stressed ? - Don't worry - Follow Harsh Vardhanji's advice - Eat Dark Chocolates (You get Amul Twilight Tryst Dark Chocolates at Ambaniji's Reliance @ 50% discount)..... I am not even having one square meal, then how do I buy chocolates..... Don't worry haven't you opened your Jan Dhan account..... Government has announce Covid package and the money will soon come..... If not credited ?..... Then light 9 lamps for 9 days and do Thali Dance till 2024.....After that ????..... After that, both the viruses will get eliminated..... Both ?...... Yes, Both :)

Recently, in one Indian's baggage, American customs found cow dung cakes. He was questioned about the idea behind carrying those cow dung cakes into America. He gave the answer, but customs were not convinced and instead of allowing to take inside America, they threw the cow dung cakes into trash cans.

Scrap RTPCR tests completely, cases count go down PCR pandemic gone in instant, dying anyhow die but they have better chance of surviving as people will not rush to hospitals (mild, medium cases) And these serius and critical cases get good care, attention, beds, critical care system.

Sunil, your suggestion is not bad but all the suggested directions may be possible for those who hold white collar jobs and having surplus funds in the pocket. Its difficult for daily manial class tp maintain such reqirements and hygine. I have 2 jabs but still i take vitamic C + zinc tablets since one year. Face mask ok with office goers. But labourers may find difficlt and sucffocated because of lack of air supply. Humanity is going through worst phase of life.

Lockdowns and vaccines are not the answer for virus. Vaccines may have have hamful side-effect unknown at this time. Building immunity is the only answer - through the body's own mechanism by eating proper food, proper sleep patterns (and preferably more than four hours), clean living conditions and exercise. Any tonic that claims to be an immunity builder may have harmful chemicals and toxins.

The 3rd wave might impact children as said provided people above 18 are vaccinated both doses in next 3 months. But that is a next to impossible task. Moreover people who have been vaccinated also will get infected. So it's not just the children or people below 18 who will be impacted. Let's see how the government prepares for the next wave. They haven't been able to even understand the 2nd wave and it's implications.
