Kundapur: Man consumes poison, ends life

Kundapur, May 14: A person from Karkunje village in the taluk ended his life by consuming some poisonous substance. The victim has been identified as Ramesh (55) from Neerkodlu House in Neralakatte, Karkunje.

Ramesh was differently abled. He had consumed a poisonous substance on May 7. He was rushed to Ajjarkad hospital immediately. He however succumbed on May 12 without responding to efforts made to save his life, it is learnt.

In this connection, a report has been filed in the rural police station here.
