Puttur, May 12: Deepika C K, a gram panchayat (GP) member of Mundoor village, has distributed grocery items to over 50 families living in Kemminje ward in Mundoor, free of cost. She undertook this initiative in order to help the poor families to tide over problems that have arisen because of the coronavirus infection and related lockdown. The GP member has turned into a role model by her generous act.
The entire country is reeling under the weight of death and devastation let loose by coronavirus. Following the coronavirus guidelines and policies relating to the handling of the diseases is the need of the hour in the interests of our own safety.

In a release, Deepika C K has offered to extend emergency help relating to Kemminje ward at this time where saving life and going on with life are of equal importance. She has asked the people to contact her if the residents of the said ward face any difficulty in procuring medicines and items of daily need.
