On the next day, May 6, the hospital authorities informed him about his mother’s death. “On May 7, after receiving the Covid-19 negative report, the mortal remains were handed over to us. While shifting the body to the ambulance, both the earrings were missing from my mother's ears. When I questioned the staff, they took it very lightly and said ‘take a photograph of the patient before you send the patient to the hospital’. Later, I filed a complaint with the hospital authorities.
“Though we have filed a complaint, there is no use. We will wait for two days and will then file a complaint with the police,” said Deekaiah.
