Mangaluru, May 8: Anti-Covid vaccination programme will not be held in the district from May 9 as the available stock of doses has exhausted.

The vaccination which was available in the district, was provided to the beneficiaries on Saturday May 8.

The dates of vaccination will be announced after the district receives new stock, stated the district health and family welfare department.

I was due for 2nd dose of Covaxin on 24th April, however Covaxin is not available in Mangalore since then. This is a failure of local and the state government administration.

In Mangalore situation even more grim even for 45+ people. There were no doses in pot hospitals since 29-apr. No doses in most PHC in Mangalore city since 1-May and no vaccine anywhere in Mangalore city for last 3 days already. Wondering what is going on and why is this not reported?

Modi government made a mistake by exporting large quantities of vaccines. Should've concentrated on vaccinating our own citizens first.
