Kundapur, May 7: As the positive cases of Covid-19 are spiking in the state, a 75-bed isolation centre for Covid-19 patients has been set up at Devaraj Urs Backward Classes Girls Hostel in Kundapur.
The Indian Red Cross Center will provide complete assistance to the isolation centre. Red Cross provided all the basic facilities, including bed sheets, drinking water, and pillow cover. Medical experts will visit the patients twice a day. Doctors will take care of patients during the night. Two nurses will nurture the patients in this isolation centre.
Under the direction of the taluk health officer, taluk AYUSH Hospital's Dr Ashok will be supervising the centre. If the patients suffer from severe health problems they will be shifted to the hospital.
Even last year a Covid-19 isolation center was set up. As many as 45 patients took treatment at the centre. It may be recalled that the patients received good health care at the centre.
