Udupi, May 4: Preparations have been made to construct a new oxygen unit in the district to prevent a shortage in the supply of the oxygen necessary in the treatment of Covid patients.
Spot verification for the same was done on Tuesday, May 4 by district MLA Raghupati Bhat along with the officials of district administration.
The oxygen unit will start working soon. It will have a capacity of filling 100 cylinders.
