One such Bhajan, sang by engineer Mahesh Kundar of Sri Rama Bhajana Mandir of Beejadi Gopadi has created waves on social media within a day. A bhajan which is sung by Mahesh has got more than 10 lac views and surging ahead. This is the first Bhajan that has created history with so many views.
Mahesh, member of Beejadi Gopadi Sri Rama Bhajana Mandir is gifted with a silken voice gifted by God. He feels every Bhajan when he sings it. One can see the devotion in the Bhajans he sings. The bhajan ‘Ra Enda Mathradolu’ sung by Mahesh has won the minds and hearts of not only lovers of devotional songs but all music lovers. The reason for this is that it has got an attractive point in it.
Mahesh Kundar is the talented member of Beejadi Gopadi Sri Rama Bhajana Mandir, which is renowned for its devotional songs in the coastal region. Mahesh, who got inspiration from Bhajana Kesari Bhajane Ramanna, is the disciple of Dinesh Suvarna, who is well known as Kalinga Navuda of Bhajan field. Right from his childhood, Mahesh was involved in singing Bhajan. Though he is an engineering graduate now, he is actively involved in traditional arts like Hownderayana Olaga, Kolata and Kunita Bhajane.
Mahesh is the fourth son of the late Annappa Sriyan and the late Kusuma. He completed his primary education at Udupi higher primary school Beejadi Paduvalli, high school at VKR Acharya English medium high school at Kundapur, pre-university education at VGS Kota and Engineering at Moddlakatte Institute of Technology. At present he is a civil contractor.
Mahesh, who has made great achievements in Bhajana Anthyakshari, has clear knowledge about the emotional meaning of Bhajan along with the pronouns. Mahesh is an active member of Karavali Yuvaka Mandala. He has bagged prizes in Yuvajana Melas by giving presentations of coastal Kolata and Hownderayana Olga traditional arts. Palli Katti bhajan sung by Mahesh in Tamil and Brahmokkattee song, written by Dasa Annamaiah and sung by Mahesh have also become popular.
