Bengaluru: Hankering to gain publicity out of grief - BJP leaders criticized

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, May 4: BJP leaders who had displayed a huge boarding in the outskirts of the city about arranging free funeral for the people dying of coronavirus infection, and also food and lunch arrangements for those attending the funeral, have come in for flak. People are critical of the attempts being made by the politicians to gain mileage for themselves out of death and devastation.

A flex had been erected at Giddenahalli, giving directions to the graveyard of the village where free funeral is arranged. The flex claimed that the district administration has arranged for the free funeral where water, coffee, tea, snacks and lunch would be supplied free of cost under the leadership of Nelamangala Planning Authority chairman S Mallayya, and under the guidance of BDA chairman, S R Vishwanath.

The flex also had photos of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, chief minister B S Yediyurappa, minister Ashok, and Yalahanka MLA S R Vishwanath. The photo of this flex has become viral in the social media where the netizens have trolled the BJP leaders for trying to encash the opportunity provided by the deaths which bring miseries to a large number of families. Many have chided them for not providing treatment and medicines free of cost in time and saving the people's lives and instead trying to gain publicity after the people lose their lives. As the flex came under fire from all around, it was removed.

Yalahanka MLA S R Vishwanath, speaking about the incident, said that no one lives around Giddenahalli and the area is surrounded by boulders and there is no water arrangement. He therefore clarified that in order to see that those coming there for funerals do not face problems, on humanitarian grounds, water and food were arranged with the support of officials. He agreed that it was wrong to have printed the photographs of the chief minister and other leaders in the flex and expressed regret for the same.

There is nothing wrong here to bring awareness to the people. In media circles especially electronic media and social media is abuzz with some political party providing some ambulances some party projecting people of some faith helping some other faith in their burial and posting it vociferously in Social media. All these maybe political but is helping the needy.

In India we are facing problems not because of Modi... But of Andh Bhakts... Just read the story of Amit Jaiswal Jain... Die hards follower of Modi... ( Andh Bhakt)... Got Covid... Was at hospital... Still this bhakt was giving lecture at social medial saying that dont complaint, there are no hospitals... In home we dont have separate toilets for each and every person... So we need to support Govt instead of blaming... After some days his family tagged BJPee... Modi... Yogi... for oxygen.... But no help came... Last he died.... Conditions of Bhakts... Bceause of these idiots others are also suffering.... In Daiji itself we can read comments from Bhakts... Claiming India is in safe hands... Anyhow people wanted Mandir, Hindu - Muslim, hatred, Pakistan... Instead of hospitals.. education... Good living conditions... etc... Just Bhakts plz answer total no of hospitals built by Modi in 7 years... All Jumla.. Not a single AIMS we can find...

BJP has done all preparations. They have time for all of this nonsense, but no time to be on ground and visit hospitals and ensure people get beds, oxygen & proper treatment. Aapke hi haath se thaali baja di, aapke hi haath se diya bhi jalwa diya....so BJP government almost made you do all the formalities before itself from your own hands. Now you just have to die. Food is now being arranged too. Bas aapko marna hai...simple.

The government could not fix the problem. In fact they did not see a problem and believed under the wise leadership of Modi they achieved "triumph' and 'victory'. They were so blindsided by their own cleverness that the got the EC to have 8 phases of elections in Bengal to enable campaigning, ignored the disaster that could follow large unmasked gatherings for people attending the campaign rallies or the kumbh mela.! Now that it has resulted in huge loss of life with the real death figures about 10 times the official count they have found campaigning space at the crematorium! What next for publicity and event management??

As cremation ground falls outside city..especially for covid deceased people..to attract all need such flaks having leader's photos. Its not publicity stunt. Due to short of cremation ground people started to pyre there near n dear ones on available people which is dangerous to environment and moreover health hazard. To avoid such happenings cremation ground selected in remote place and for information for all placed such hoardings with all arrangements. In such community seen even not giving place for burial if following different faith in same community.
