Really a tragic moment. Boys were not aware of the river pond consequences without knowing to swim properly. May their soul rest in peace and condolences to their families. May God give them strength to bear their loss.

Calvin was the youngest of all our cousins. A very loving, playful and caring kid. Very unfortunate for this to happen at such an early age. May the souls of all the departed rest in peace!!!

This is for Charles D'Mellow, Pangala, What a mind-blowing comment? It makes sense and is a lesson for others who venture into rivers and don't know what is in front of you.

Like me. It was told to me (I do not remember) that workers who used to draw water from the well and putting the tank (In Pangala it is common to have tanks at ground level to irrigate Jasmin plants) I fell into the tank and they saved me. After that I never ventured into flowing water. In the swimming pool can hold on to the edges and save myself getting myself drowning. Every person has to know their limitations early in the age. I am sad to note that these young boys failed to understand their limitations at this age of 18 to 28.
