Bantwal, May 1: City station police took two people into custody on Saturday May 1 regarding the stabbing of a youth at Ajjibettu of BC Road in the taluk.

Imran, a resident of BC Road and Safwan are the accused who were arrested by Bantwal police.

It may be recalled, Manoj Sapalya (30), a resident of Brahmarakootlu, was stabbed on the night of April 4 by two scooter-borne assailants, who escaped from the spot after the attack.

Police had formed three teams to nab the culprits in the incident.
