Delhi man arrested for driving SUV on Morjim beach

Panaji, May 1: A New Delhi resident was arrested by the Pernem police on Friday, April 30 for driving his SUV on Morjim beach in violation of laws.

Ashok Wadia was driving his luxury car on Morjim beach putting the lives of other people at risk. The police received the information that the SUV was bearing a Delhi registration number, PI Jivba Dalvi said.

Immediately, an FIR was registered, and the vehicle along with its driver/owner was traced and the accused placed under arrest. The car has also been attached under panchanama and further investigations are being carried out.
