Bharat Co-operative Bank Tops Co-operative Banks’ Association’s Award

Mumbai, Aug 7: The annual award- presentation ceremony of Mumbai Co-operative Banks’ Association Limited was organized at Hotel City Point auditorium, Dadar East here on Friday August 6.

The Bharat Co-operative Bank Ltd promoted by Billavara Asociation was conferred first place outstanding record of over 1000 crore working capital in the year 2008-09.

 
Abhyudaya Co-operative Bank and Shyamarao Vittal Co-operative Bank Ltd won the second and third place respectively.

Association president C B Adsul presided over the programme. Vice-president Sandeep S Danghat, chief working officer Saheb Rao Tanage and assistant chief working officer and Uttham Rao T Bosle among others presented the awards.

Bharat Bank working president Vasudev R Kotian, vice-president advocate Rohini J Salian, chief manager B K Amin received the honour. Bank directors Pushpalatha N Salian, M B Kukkian, L V Amin, chief managers C R Mulky, Anil Kumar were also present.

Mumbai Co-operative Banks’ Association’s convenors Sadananda D Nayak, Chinthavan P Wagh, Ganesh A Mahale, Gulabrao G Jagtap, advisor Jagadeeshwar N Shetty, Mogaveera Co-operative Bank working president Keerthiraj Salian among others were present on the occasion.
