Puttur: Man secures dog's health with mask before visiting market

Daijiworld Media Network - Puttur (SP)

Puttur, Apr 30: At a time when coronavirus has been leaving people and nations disoriented, the people, in addition to protecting themselves with masks, sometimes with double masks, are also taking care of the health of their dogs by providing them with the protection of masks. As a mark of love towards their pets, they are not leaving any stone unturned to keep their dogs away from the renewed coronavirus onslaught.

A person who visited the town on Thursday in his two-wheeler to buy essentials also had brought with him a puppy. Policemen at the checkpost were taken aback at the sight of the man because not only was he wearing a mask but he had also tied a mask on the face of his pet dog.

The man explained that having concern about the pet animals is as important as protecting one's own health. Recently a video of a man living by the streets without any mask, but providing a mask to his dog had become viral.

This is not love for the dog. It is torture. Luckily, animals aren't affected by covid. So this act of putting a mask is nonsense

human life is the highest form of life... that is what Indian theology says... but now in kaliyuga, animals, cattle are treated well but humans are neglected... no should be jealous of this... animals in human form have more bonding with animals than with humans...

We are not aware that dogs fall prey to this plague, this owner considers his pet to be an extension of his family... his action must now register, on every foolish, buffoon, that only a well protected face mask, will make a difference between life and death !!

What is wrong in that ? Wrong in your thinking power because you are a human being and trying to lower yourself. Humans are not animals. God has given us brain and a tongue to express correctly.

Although spreading of Covid-19 is not proved so far, I like the love towards animals like Dogs. They are really awesome animals (I hate calling them as animals as they are more faithful than the animals so called Human beings).

Dogs are not reported to get infected by Covid. Placing a mask on an animal just to get some publicity or out of stupidity - it's just cruel.

This is so wrong. Dogs don't get covid plus pugs have a very bad respiratory system. The breathing canal is so narrow that as it is they have breathing issues and even a short workout of half an hour leaves them gasping for breath. In such things blocking their respiration like this is just so wrong. It could literally kill the dog.

Dogs by nature need to put their tongues out of the mouth to maintain the moisture of the tongues and the body temperature. blocking their mouth is a form of cruel torture to the pets.
