Passengers who have transited through India in the last 14 days are not permitted to board from any other point to the UAE.
Last Thursday, UAE had announced the suspension of inbound passenger flights from India for 10 days starting from 11:59 pm on April 24 with an exception to transit flights and passengers who are UAE nationals, diplomatic passport holders and golden residency visa holders.

Last week, Abu Dhabi-based Etihad had also opined that the restriction period could be extended. Etihad had informed that it would continue to operate flights to India, carrying passengers both from their network and from Abu Dhabi. However, it will not be permitted to carry passengers from India. "UAE nationals, diplomatic passport holders and official passport holders or those holding an official delegation letter are an exception from the UAE entry restriction. These passengers will be subject to acceptance and quarantine conditions,” an Etihad spokesperson had stated back then.
