Mangaluru, Apr 28: The body of 32-year-old Nitin, a resident of Ullalabail was found on Wednesday, April 28. The body was found near Adam Kudru on the banks of the Netravati River.

Earlier in the week on April 26, Nitin was reported to be missing. A case in this regard was also filed by Nitin's brother at the Ullal police station.

Nitin along with his friends had taken part in the Brahmakalashotsava programme of Someshwar temple the afternoon of Monday, April 26, before he went missing.

Following the complaint, the police personnel had questioned the two friends who had accompanied him. It is said Nithin panicked when a train approached while he was wandering about on the railway tracks with his friends and his impulsive reaction caused him to jump into the river.

He was unmarried and was employed in the Gulf and had returned after the coronavirus lockdown and was working as a welder.
