'Arrivals from Mum, B'luru to Udupi, Chikkamagaluru should be quarantined' - MP Shobha

Udupi, Apr 27: BJP leader and MP Shobha Karandlaje has urged the state government to take precautionary measures for the people arriving from Mumbai and Bengaluru to Udupi and Chikkamagaluru. “People that are arriving from Mumbai, Bengaluru to Udupi and Chikkamagaluru should be made to undergo compulsory Covid tests. They should be quarantined until their test reports are received," she stressed.

"There are farmhouses in the villages of Chikkamagaluru which can be used as quarantine centres. But there is fear of the virus spreading in the city," she added.

Shobha further stated that she is in constant touch with the DC and health officials. "Everybody hopes that the number of infected people does not increase," Shobha said.

"I have requested for a list displaying fixed rates for Covid tests that can be put across private hospitals so that people can have access to them,” she said.

2020 lock down was announced over night without even giving migrant workers to prpare themselves to reach their matibe places. This year Modi was very cautious and not in favour of full lock down and only if situation calls for such action. Why our educated Ministers and great politicians and PMs advisory committee did not advise PM not to ignore covid allert and postpone elections. Nobody was bothered or it was one man show as usual. This is bad for the country and countrymen. PM is not an expert he is an administator and does not pocess all the expertise with him. Speaches are different than thorough knoledge and edicational qualification. He failed the country with his half filled knowledge which rattles and makes more nice than its worth.

And our Health Minister, PM and other politicians are working 24 x 7 - 365 how to further expand BJP rule in the South and North East. One year our politicians were chasing the Cow thieves and protecting the Cows with full fledged Gau shalas and fodder. How China built infrastructure and other amenities with in same period. Our PM is worried more in safe guarding his chair rather than issuing strict instructions to public. Kumba Mela and other festivities could have been avoided. Kolkatta election could have been delayed. All foolishness and now crying and rolling crocodile tears. Why Shobakka did not initiate concern and requested the CM to exercise proper care and prioritize Covid health issues on a timely manner. No firing empty missiles (filled with natural gas H2S ) and polluting the air.

Cynthia, think logically; yesterday 3lac+ migrants ran away from Bangalore in cramped buses (highest rate of virulent infection is in Bangalore), & Mangalore; who has checked them? They will go and spread it to other people in their native places, mostly rural with low rates of incidence! Since the infection has already spread in the community, the only remedy is speeding up vaccination & hope of herd immunity!! BTW, third wave has hit Germany, we should be concerned!

Rudy, i agree with you. Speaking about vaccine, let me tell you, private hospitals say vaccines are out of stock. Some hospitals really hide the vaccines as per some reliable sources and send the people back. Theres a huge queue in front of Wenlock hospital on the first day of lockdown. Tell me, where were our people ? They were not ready to take vaccine and waiting some one else to take and watch over them quietly whether vaccine takers are survived or not. Pvt hospitals are saying very few people say about 30/40 were coming for the vaccination. Now, how come all rush together..??Whatever it is, ultimately its the fault of our people who danced according to the tune of politicians. Politicians used their wisdom...why we people didnt use our wisdom?? Politicians get high quality top treatment. Now, when family members die, who is responsible? Govt..? Or we ? Until recently, Mr. Kota Srinivas, Mr. Raghupathi Bhat, Mr. Vedavyas kamath etc. Were opposing ban put on religious gatherings at night. There should have been a complete ban on social and religious gatherings from 1st of april. Our people were cross questioning that time. Now, why god is not saving the people? Its not gods mistake...Our carelessness and negligence

It should be the other way around. Tests should be conducted on arrival and quarantined if the results are positive. Otherwise there will unnecessary hardships for those who are negative. The death count is severely under reported to save the face. You, a blind bhakth, do not even have humanity to accept the fact that it is the failure from the Cow government from day 1, that we are in this situation. If you're still hanging to cheddi, God will show you his wrath for sure. Everyone who supported all Chowkidar's action like bhakths, mainline media, and other party leaders are now stained with the blood of these deaths. You guys are equally responsible for the deaths of thousands. You will not be spared as Almighty will punish those responsible and the curse of those families who lost their bread winners, dear ones will not go waste. You will get the pain in double amount and you and your loved ones gets the slap from Corona.
