Apr 26: Rise in fresh Covid cases in Udupi, tally up by 412, Dakshina Kannada records 295

Mangaluru/Udupi, Apr 26: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 295 fresh coronavirus cases on Monday raising the tally to 41,579. Out of these, 4,032 cases are currently active.

A total of 718,605 samples have been tested. Out of which 677,026 are negative.

As many as 238 people were discharged on Monday, taking the total number of recoveries to 36,799.

A total of 748 deaths have occurred so far.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 29,173, including 412 fresh cases on Monday. Out of these, 1,687 cases are currently active.

Over 491,127 samples have been tested so far.

As many as 290 patients were discharged on Monday. The total number of recoveries has climbed to 27,292.

A total of 194 deaths have occurred so far.
