Mangaluru, Apr 26: Due to an electrical short circuit which led to a fire accident at The Mangalore Catholic Co-operative (MCC) Bank Limited, Hampankatta branch (Founder’s Branch), the normal banking operations of the branch began from the NRI section located adjacent to the branch from Monday April 26.
MCC Bank chairman, Anil Lobo said that all the records, securities, software systems and data were unharmed and are intact after the fire mishap and has requested the esteemed customers and other stake holders to note the commencement of normal operations and avail the banking services at the NRI section.
It may be recalled, fire broke out at the bank on April 23. It is said that fire broke out from the server room of the bank.
