Shivamogga: Covid patient found moving around freely on motorcycle

Daijiworld Media Network - Shivamogga (SP)

Shivamogga, Apr 26: The police deployed at Ameer Ahmed Circle here were taken aback after coming to know that the person whom they had stopped while riding a motorcycle was coronavirus-infected. This happened when the police were checking vehicles on Sunday April 25.

The traffic police were present in good numbers at this busy circle since Sunday morning. In the afternoon the police stopped a person moving in his two-wheeler, sought the purpose of his travel, besides asking him to produce the bike ownership papers and driving licence.

The man baffled the policemen, other vehicles riders who were stopped by the police, and the media persons who we present around by claiming that he was a Covid patient. He also displayed the certificate from the hospital pronouncing him to be a coronavirus positive person. He explained that he was returning from the hospital.

The police asked the man to straightaway proceed to his house. They gave information to the police control room and alerted the other police.

We trumpeted the good tidings, all over the world, that Indians triumphed, over Covid19 pandemic.. The Government at the center and in the states, never anticipated this most ferocious, infections second wave, that would overwhelm our nation.. Netas went on an overdrive, during elections... religious festivals, were lakhs performed their rituals, believing that the Gods, would protect them !!! This false confidence, recklessness has now exploded in our faces... We have become the most Covid19 ravaged nation on Earth !!!

there is no risk in covid positive person going around in two wheeler... because he is moving faster than walking, he poses no risk to pedestrians... if he is wearing helmet with glass front cover... still more safe....

One way its goodnto be ventilated always , as they say to keep indoors ventilated. Hospitals , ambulances and quarantines are largely closed areas to allow C-19 easily contagious.

Gurkha, we did not get freedom from Britain, it was just transfer of power from the British raj to India and Pakistan, our founding fathers and historians just fooled us in believing it was freedom.

Right comments. The test reports for Covid still delayed for 3 to 4 days which has to be fastened by hospitals. This will be helpful for spreading the decease. But our officials and politicians still in sleep. They always think of lockdown so that they can be rested and common people suffer.
