Mumbai, Aug 5: Life on earth if lived by fulfilling the duties towards elders, brethrens and holy men will enable mankind to get eternal life and the selfless service to mankind can grant divine graces, said Swami Gurudevananda of Odiyoor Mutt.
He was delivering religious discourse at Swami Nityananda auditorium, Sion (east) here on Wednesday August 4. The programme was organized by the metro-based Gurudev aSeva Balaga – Maharashtra unit.
The devotees of Navi Mumbai presented an album of Swami Gurudevanda to him during the programme to coincide with swamiji’s 50th birthday. Vishwanath Shetty couple offered Padapuja of Swami Gurudevanand and in turn Swami also offered prasadam to all devotees.
Gurudeva Seva Balaga, Maharashtra unit president lawyer Kadandale Parari Prakash Shetty, secretary Prakash Shetty, joint secretaries Damodar Shetty and Divakar Shetty, treasurer Bhoja Shetty, Sri Vajramata Mahila Vikas Kendra – Maharashtra Unit president Revati Shettty, former president Suvasini Shetty, office-bearers and veterans of community Babu N Shetty, Sundar L Shetty, Sarojini Hiriyanna Shetty, Narayan R Shetty, Shyam N Shetty and Ramesh Shetty among others were present.
