Nitin Vas, resident of Kinnigoli near here is the youth, who has invented this unique mask. These masks which are manufactured from cotton are eco-friendly. This has got many specialities.

This mask is manufactured after soaking the cotton in water and making it into paper sheets. Then it is dried for 12 hours. Thin cotton layers are stitched to the back portion of the mask. In the midst of this seeds of plants are also placed. The cost of this use and throw mask is Rs 25. This is completely hand made. So far 3,000 masks are sold by Nitin.

Nitin Vas and his friends own a company called Paper Seed. They had provided employment for many before the lockdown. The aim of the company was to manufacture eco-friendly goods. This company, which started operating in 2017 provided employment to more than 300 women. But after the lockdown it went under loss. Now only a handful of people are working in the company.

Everything is fine.Cotton and employment to many.Even they are eco friendly ,are they also prevent virus entering into our breathing system for example nose lungs or mouth? That is more important than eco system. Please get tested in Lab.Only then can be sold.We see some women dont use of masks
