Mangaluru, Apr 23: The rule that the COVID negative certificate procured from the hospital needs to have the QR code of the hospital put paid to the travel plans of several Dubai-bound passengers on Wednesday April 21 night.
As per the latest rules in Dubai, Indians travelling to that country need to have COVID negative certificate that is not older than 48 hours. The new rule also stipulates that the certificates need to have the QR codes of the hospital concerned. In some hospitals, there was technical problem because of this provision. Some passengers had to even cancel their Dubai visit. The problem arose mainly because many hospitals came to know about this new rule with delay.
